Hi all...

A question on dataprotector 6.x.

Actually i am using computer associates Brightstor Arcserve Backup to backup all our datacenter, both for microsoft and unix servers. The most important feature of this software is the single file restore from an image backup.
I have about 2tb of disk space with billions of very small files that must be online and real-time availables.

With the image option of brightstore i can backup this volumes "in a flash" vs. waiting bunches of hours to put
every single file on the tapes.

Can dataprotector 6.x restore a single file from an image backup ?

I am reading "zero downtime backup administration guide" whitch cover (i suppose) this part of this software, but
right now i cant' see what i am looking for...

tnx in advance.
