IMA not starting up.

im having problems starting up the IMA service on my win2k server. i try to start it up and it just sits there with a status of "starting".

some history on the machine...
our citrix environment used to consist of 3 servers in the farm. we were phasing out server1 and unbeknownst to me, it was the one holding the database for the farm, and as such, i removed citrix from it (big oops). I then rebuilt a new farm on server2 and had server3 join the new farm (this was about a month ago). this past weekend we had a power outage, shutting down everything. after power came back, i brought server2 back online and it cannot start up IMA. so here i am ready to remove citrix, but it would be nice to know what the heck its (not) doing.

duh, i should mention versions.

win2k server, sp2
citrix metaframe XP, 1.0 with sp/fr 1.0 and fr 2.0 installed

Hi,

Set IMA service to manual, reboot. Try recreating your local host cache, there are threads in this forum.

Also, check your DSN is connecting successfully as well, probably first!

Once your checks are complete, try starting IMA manually.
