Hi;
I run my own domain and IIS 5 server at home. I have an outward facing web page that uses NT authentication to allow access to users who have a valid active directory logon.
Recently, at work they added a new proxy server, and ever since that I get "HTTP 401.2 - Unauthorized: Logon failed due to server configuration" whenever I try to access my page at home (ostensibly because my work domain login doesn't exist on my home domain).
I can get into the page fine with Mozilla (it prompts for username/password) because Mozilla didn't autoconfigure proxy, but MSIE did. I tried hitting the MSIE options and changing the Security/User Authentication section, but it didn't seem to help.
So, my question is, how can I authenticate through this proxy? (No, I don't have any access to it). Is there something I can do on my IIS end, or do I have to switch to a whole different authentication method? Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks!
