I posted this question in the IIS forum: but I guess there isn't a lot of traffic there, (only 4 posts in 9 days), because i haven't heard anything.

Anyway, after searching this forum - my question, (How will OWA be affected if I uninstall/reinstall IIS & asp.net), was answered: OWA needs to be reinstalled.

I looked on my 2003 server for how I can go about uninstalling OWA but I can't find it. Can someone tell how does OWA get uninstalled & reinstalled without reinstalling all of Exchange?

Thank you,

Eddie

The OWA extensions could get harmed by reinstalling IIS but I've never tried. You used to just stick the Exchange disk into the server and do a sort of add/remove programs to add OWA but I've not tried it in years.

I'd recommend reinstalling IIS (if that's what you are going to do) then I think OWA won't work. Then get OWA working again.

If you have customised any pages like the login page, you'll need to take a copy before you do any work or you will lose it.

I've not needed to look at it since about Exchange 5.5 for reinstall.

Have a star on me Mark - I've learned something today.

Thanks guys - I was hoping I didn't have mess with all of Exchange (because my original problem seems to lie with IIS) but I guess you gotta do what ya gotta do...
