I have XP Home Edition and I am aware that Home Edition does not include the IIS software. But as i was searching i found the IIS FAQ site and discovered that the .Net Framework package included IIS. So my question is, How do i get access to the IIS data?

IIS can not be used in XP home. There are diff versions of IIS designed for different OS's. The closest one is XP PRO. IIS 5.1 is the version inculded with pro, and is somewhat limited, but is good for hosting simple sites. IIS can not be downloaded or purchased separately.

I have read some posts where people have installed 5.1 from the xp pro disk on to xp home, however, there were siginificant problems caused. Its worth it to upgrade to pro, and use the iis version that is included with.
