Hello:

I am receiving the following 2 errors in the event viewer. I am running IIS 5 and Windows 2000 w/front page server extensions.

Error 1:
Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions:
Error #3005f Message: Unable to read configuration for Microsoft Internet Information Server.
-------------------------------------------
Error 2:
Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions:
Error reading IIS default Vroot info

I am receiving a permissions error when attempting to send mail via CDONTS and I am wondering if this may be the cause.
Has anyone seen this before? Thanks,

Brett

DNG:

I checked and I did have the Application Protection set at Medium (Pooled) for each web site on my server. The errors I described above are occuring each hour every hour. Any other ideas. I am really stumped. Should I reload the Server Extentions??

Brett

Just stop all services...shut down the server.
Restart the server and see if all the services are restarted and let us know if you see the errors again...

I can't shut down IIS until 5 PST. Will post once I have restarted server.
