IIS Admin service will not start

My Exchange server (back end) will not start up. IIS Admin service does not appear in services, can I re-install that piece?

you can try, but look up the service dependency first, maybe there are some clues, also, check event log

if you remove and reinstall iis, you must run exchange setup again and choose the reinstall option. And then reapply all service packs
