I have some articles about this issues but have not been able to find a solution.

Our intranett is availble as " in our LAN. "Office users" should use integrated authentication to get righs matching domain-priveligies.

From LAN-side I also need to allowed anonymous access to intranett-site, since productional employees doesnt have domain-logon. They will access Intranett from WEB-clients in canteen etc.

I have tried to use anonymous and integrated on same site, this was not successfull since it then allways use anonymous also if the user is verified.

I then thought if I removed the anonymous, I could reroute the error-html for access-denied on this site to a anonym-site. This doesnt work neither, since the user then was prompted for nt-username three time before access denied showed up.

Any suggestion how to handle this?

Hi, Internet explorer will always try to connect anonymously first.

What I suggest is to create an generic account will very limited permissions for you external staff and use only integrated authentication.

Hope this helps. Please let me know if this resolve your issue
