Hello All,
I hope someone can help me with this. I have a fram with three servers(Metaframe XP, FR2 on Windows 2000 server SP3, IE6 SP1) that are load balanced desktops. My users all have roaming profiles stored on a file server that get loaded and unloaded each time they log on and off. On two of the servers some users are getting an error report when they try to open IE. Not all the users are getting and the ones that are only get on 2 of the three servers.
I have tried completelty wiping out their profiles from everywhere and created new ones with no luck. I checked the event logs and this is what is happening:

The description for Event ID ( 1000 ) in Source ( Microsoft Internet Explorer ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: iexplore.exe,
6.0.2800.1106, shell32.dll, 5.0.3502.5436, 0002db07.

I have looked all over the internet and the closest solution I have found was to set the max size of the temporary internet files cache to at least 10Mb. No Luck.

I have done comparisons of all the servers and the only real differences are the objects installed on each. The one that is working has the least of them. I am going to try to remove all of the extra ones when I get a maintenance window. One of the servers has only one extra object : Shockwave Flash Object. I think that this is where the problem may be but am not willing to remove during production hours. If anyone has run into this any help or information would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry for the information overload I just wanted to cover all the bases.

Thanks in advance.

Quick correction. the additional object is a quicktime object not Shockwave. Sorry I got lost in my own information.

Did you ever solve this problem as one of my servers is being affected?

Thank you
