I know I am connected because I can log onto msn messenger but if I click on the emails, the page is loaded with "page cannot be displayed"
Some background, I used Hijack this to get rid of msoffice.hta, I also used spybot search and destroy. I think through Hijack I might have deleted one to many things. Is there some setting in the registry I can change or add to fix this problem.

To state the obvious I am posting this through another computer.

Thanks for your help.

If your using 2K or XP just use system restore set it to the day before or the last time you rebooted before using hijacked.

I am using XP. However I turned off the system restore before I started all this.

Does Hijack This keep a backup (allowing a restore) of entries you have deleted? Spybot does.

In Tools/ Internet Options/ Advanced, uncheck "Enable third-party browser extensions", to see if some other program is causing IE to crash.

Specifies that you want to disable features you installed for use with Internet Explorer that may have been created by companies other than Microsoft.
If you encounter problems with Internet Explorer that you cannot resolve, you can use this option to help determine if third-party features are causing the problems without uninstalling the feature. You must restart Internet Explorer after turning this option on or off.

Some other things to check.

You can reinstall IE in Windows XP by clicking Start, Run and entering the following command:

rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 c:\windows\inf\ie.inf

(where c: represents your Windows installation drive).

You will need to have your XP CD available. If you re-install remember to update it.

Using SFC /Scannow at the command prompt will help in repairing IE.

Thanks for your input, but I figured it out. It wasn't that I deleted one to many but one to few. I needed to delete another line with the broken access lsp.dll in it.
