when i log onto a web site 95% of the site loads but occasionaly a picture doesn't show and all that shows is a box with a red cress in the corner.i have run internet explorer repair program and scandisk etc.how can i find what the problem is as when the site does not load fully i lose my internet connection
does anyone have any suggestions?

The red box basically is a problem with the website you are missing. It means that in html the programmer for that site forgot to put the correct name of the image file. It should have nothing to do with the Internet Explorer browser on your system B-) Does this occur on every website you visit. If that is the problem, right click on the image and click load image. If that does not work, i have no idea :-(
