Any Ideas what could be causing the
Faulting application iexplore.exe, version 7.0.6000.16512, time stamp 0x46807103, faulting module jscript.dll, version 5.7.0.6000, time stamp 0x4549bce2, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x0005db7a, process id 0x1474, application start time 0x01c7e41682a08b46.

I have made sure that IE has been restored.

Updated java script.

Only crashes when viewing sharepoint sites. Also causes live messenger to crash. Firefox has no issus viewing the site.

Whenever I see "0xc0000005" in any error it can mean there is some type of access permission problem?

Have you tried running IE7 with the No Add-ons option?

You could try resetting Internet Explorer settings. (Help and Support article)

"If disabling add-ons doesn't solve the problem, try resetting Internet Explorer back to its default settings. This removes all changes that have been made to Internet Explorer since it was installed, but it does not delete your favorites or feeds.

Close all Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer windows.

Click to open Internet Explorer.

Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options.

Click the Advanced tab, and then click Reset.

Click Reset.

When you are done, click Close, and then click OK.

Close Internet Explorer and reopen it for the changes to take effect."

Any later updates may also have to be installed again?

What if anything is on view in the Event Viewer?

The above is what I located in the event log.

Have done the reset of IE same issue.

Have run IE with no add-ons same issue

Will try to run as admin and see if I have the same issue.

It only seems to happen when I browse companyweb and other sharepoints site I work on. Also for some reason it affects MSN messanger when It shows the today page.

I can browse most other sites

Firefox openes all sites.
