Exact wording of Problem:
"cannot find dns server or dns error internet explorer"

IE 6 won't open - get messaage can't
find server on Win 2000

This doesn't seem to help:

Thanks, Dave

My client says all 3 PC's are wireless. 2 can surf ok.

I ran into the same issue once, it was the Antivirus software. Some of the software out there can stop your web browser from working. If you can, try uninstalling the antivirus software and check the firewall (if active / installed). You may need to uninstall any firewall software that has been installed as well.

Don't drink and post, save that for driving home!

CharlieJax - that's it! Exactly! AVG was the culprit. Google AVG removal tool for best results. Don't use Add/Remove programs. Thanks CharlieJax!
