IE 5.5sp2 will not launch a PDF file even though I have Reader 5.0

Close all Internet Explorer windows, then go to Start>Run, and type:
regsvr32.exe "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 5.0\Reader\ActiveX\pdf.ocx"
Now open IE again or shutdown and restart completely.
If that dioesn't do it, I'd uninstall Adobe, then run RegClean, then re-install it.
