Getting this error trying to install or uninstall Sophos. Tried 'properly registering' the Idriver.exe file as per FAQ, but that process gives the same error.
This is a primary school server I've recently started supporting (no SP1, but all other updates installed) - previous technician installed sophos, but it was corrupt (don't know what/how it happened. He said he thought it needed a password, but you supply user/password to get to download site - don't need one to install). I couldn't uninstall or install latest. Have been in touch with Sophos support, who provided a batch file to remove old version - still the same - then pointed me at the register idriver FAQ.
Another site had an isscript file to run - but this gave same error!
Any ideas please.
