IDR Recovery v8.5 "What do you want to recover?"

After reading newsgroups, Veritas forums I haven't made any progress. Boots no problem from the recovery CD, select the DR file, no problem there, connects to the backup server, since the "media is not local", then it comes to a stop here:

"Select the drives you want automatically restored:"

And it's blank.

I have to be missing something obvious. I have tried having the new box join the domain, not join the domain, w/ SP4 - w/o SP4.

Anyone run into this problem before?
