I am having trouble finding out how to switch Identities, when I am already in Outlook 2000. Can someone help me?

Thanks,

Chad

when you say switch identities do you mean change the from address?
No Pain No Gain

yes, switching address

No problemo...

open a new email: click on view then select the from field.

I did this for someone at our work then forgot where to find it. Took me five mins to find it just now.

This will appear from now on, you won't have to keep clicking view etc.

did this sort it?

No Pain No Gain

Thank you for the info, I learned something new. What I am trying to do is switch to a different email box when I am already in Outlook.

Chad

do you use exchange server? No Pain No Gain

I am trying to setup my CEO's Outlook at his house so that his family can toggle back and forth.

I suggest putting Outlook into Corporate/Workgroup mode, then setting up profiles for each family member. They'd have to close Outlook and reopen it (I think...not 100%), but then they'd have their own environment within Outlook.

Thank you so much for your help!!!

Thanks,

Chad

that;s true - you cannot do this without exiting outlook to use each profile but that is how u do it!
No Pain No Gain

Thanks for the help again!! So cannot switch identities like he use do in Outlook express. He said that he had a Identity tab under the file menu. Thanks for everyone help.

Thanks,

Chad

You're correct, there is no similar feature in Outlook that the Identity tab offers in Outlook Express. Try the workgroup/profiles method, I think you'll get a feather in your cap for it. ;-)
