I just changed my domain password this morning.

According to the domain, something is attempting to connect as me (I assume) with my old password.

I thought it was a service I must have setup using my name, but I did a scan of all servers and none have services using my user ID. No other PC's are connecting using my name, but about every 15 minutes my account becomes locked.

Anyone have and idea's on how to identify what's attempting to use my user ID?

Thanks for any help

Any shared network drives configured to automatically connect at logon?

Cheers,
Dian

In my logon script I have net use * /d /y as the first line, so that it removes all drives during each logon and maps the drive letters based on the login script each time.

So no I shouldn't have any.

And doesn't those drives need an username/password?

Cheers,
Dian

Yes, and they use the username/password that I type in for my login (which is the updated password).

i agree with dianecht - it might not be a mapped drive on your pc, but maybe someone else's --- did you ever "connect as" to a drive on any one else's computer before?

Also check that you're prompted for the password for all shared drives.

Out of line, did you give your password to anyone else or did you use it in any other computer?

Cheers,
Dian

No, our policy here is never to give them (passwords) to anyone.

It's possible it could be a shared drive on someone else's PC, I'll have to do some checking and see if I can eliminate that.
