Does anyone know a way of identifying unused exchange5.5 mailboxes? All mailboxes receive weekly newsletters and all mailboxes show last logged on as the backup/virus accounts for the previous night.

Hope someone has an idea

Thanks

I did this. we are a small org so it was not too hard.
Go to HR and get an employee list and/or ask managers of the dept for help on who's gone.
or
in outlook go to TOOLS, OPTIONS, on the PREFERENCES tab click on TRACKING OPTIONS. Check off on the request a read receipt and on request a dilivery receipt.
send them an email.
you'll see who receives it and who reads it..
that will narrow it down to those who don't receive it or read it..
then
if possible pick up the phone and call them.

Thanks for replying vsamudio! Unfortunately we have just under 5000 mailboxes, so really I was looking for an automated solution. Thanks again.
