i was trying to create a unique field in a table that could be used to identify duplicates more accurately than what was previously used. i reasoned that if i added all of the fields across that each one should (unless it's a duplicate) create it's own unique identifier. having done that i am now in need of being able to insert this newly formed column along with the columns that make up the new column into one table and then be able to pull out only the duplicates. can you help me with that? i would appreciate any and all assistance. thanks.
