Hi, please bare with me as I'm new to this area.
We (2 of us) have just set up a home network. This is working fine (now
) but we also want to share internet access through a cable modem. If you take a look at this page from Microsoft it will explain the problem we're having a lot clearer than I could: You'll have to copy and paste this into your address bar.
My 1st question is, what kind of programmes provide a DHCP service and will uninstalling them cause other programmes to stop working?
2nd question, is it possible we took a wrong path somewhere along the way to cause this or is it a common problem?
