Here is my problem. I reload a computer, and as soon as I add it to our domain, the icons for any software added (i.e. adobe, office, etc.) disappear from the desktop and start menu for all users. This is happening on NT and 2000 machines. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Travis

Add it to the domain first, then install the software. When you add a computer to a domain, it uses a new profile for all of the users that login from the domain.

Is there any way to get around it? Because were using an image to load most of the new computers we have coming in.

Thanks

This step-by-step article describes how to use the System Preparation tool (Sysprep.exe) to perform disk duplication. You can use the cloning process to use an image of a Windows 2000 installation with its installed programs and data, for mass deployment of exactly the same installations throughout your organization.
