Hi, Ive got a Access2K application that Ive made and built and install package. I am having a problems with a user that installs my package when using Office97 on WinNT (Access 2k Runtime also installed) The icons for Access97 change from its normal "gold key" to what appears to be a "show table" icon.....
Anyone had this problem before???
Anyone have a solution for me????

kc,
When Access 2k co-exists with '97, every time either one is started, MS does some background registry hacking. Sometimes you'll see the "ms is installing office 2000..." message--even though you've already installed it. This message means that the reg key for Access.Application...CurrentVersion is being changed from Access.Application.8 to Access.Application.9.

Some of the subkeys here include the icon, so this could be what's happening--BUT--the baby building block with an 'A' is the standard Access 2k icon, I'm not sure why you'd see the showtable icon.

I am interested in changing the standard/generic MS Access 2000 Icon to an Icon of my choice. Does any one know how to do this? I have gone to the start-up menu and you can change the icon that shows up on the upper left corner of the screen. But I want to change the main Icon. As if you were looking at the Database in its un-opened state.

Hope someone can help me with this.
