ICLID and ring back

hello,
i have an IPO500v2 with analogue trunk on..the type on trunk is "Look Start With ICLID"...but the problem that i hear 3 rings then the call is present to the extension. what is the probleme in this ?

No problem. It's how ICLID is passed down the line to the IPO.

Options:

1) Stop calling yourself.
2) Stay in bed.
3) Change the lines to Loop Start.
4) Get modern telephone lines and then information is digital.

you have to consider that i have 6 months of experience

You should know how analogue lines work after 6 months though, it's kind of the beginning of becoming a telephone engineer, the foundation type stuff.

To be fair Analog lines are seriously old technology & you wold hope that an ip office was connected to something better so It is quite possible for a new IP office engineer to have not seen them.

They are, but you still need the basic training like using Krone tools and wiring sockets, crimping ends on, toning out lines etc etc, it's all part of being a telephone engineer, it's not just here's a laptop...crack on

so why the ICLID have many problem with analogue line ? i used a IP406v2 and the ICLID works and its displayed but when i'm using a IP500v2 R6.1 the ICLID doesnt showing anymore , by the way the same configuration it was copied between the IP406v2 and IP500v2 R6.1 . Also in my IP500v2 R6.1 i use a ATM COMBO CARD. so there is an explanation on this ?

verify that the lines are still set to loop start ICLID, by the way the 1st 2 rings are to collect the caller id so this is normal.

the problem is all settings are fit..trunk type is set to loop start ICLID , and for the ring back its fine with it because using IP406v2 with ICLID its come between the 1st and 2nd rings so its normal. its not normal that when im using IP500v2 the iclid doesnt work anymore.
