IBM Product Recovery

I want to restore my IBM Aptiva to the original factory-installed condition using the "Product Recovery and Diagnostics" CD that came with the system. Do I need to remove the memory I added, and remove the second CD-RW that I added, before I start? Also, I am using a different monitor than the one that came with the system. Will this prevent me from using this recovery CD?

I would appreciate any help you can give me with these questions.

would think you can use the recovery disk as is - windows should detect & install drivers (or prompt for source) for additional devices the first time you start it after recovery finished.

No I wouldnt be concerned about that really. You should be absolutely fine.
