Hi Chaps,
This is driving me mad. I have just installed a S8300 with IA770.
I can dial into voicemail and change user greetings and send messages, this is all ok. Problem is when I call another user and it goes to cover, I get the following: "Mailbox 0000 Please Wait".
I have compared all settings with another system, looked at the manual, but still it does not work.

Any help would be great.......

PS. I have done the Public-unknown-numbering

you may be sending the wrong digits to the VM, do a trace on the trunk group. you may have to adjust your private numbering table

we had the same problem, all the configuration was done from zero, an we have to open a ticket wit avaya, a DB corruption Issue, they said

this sounds like an integration problem I'm sure I've had this before

if you do display machine have you got your extension ranges administered?

I had this problem and it was a coverage problem. It was with Attendant Coverage. Are you tring to send a Attendent call to VM via coverage?

Thanks
ED

2 things to check:

Did you setup the private numbering? "change private 0", and set it up to send the IA770 trunk group the 4 digits of your extensions? This can also be done in the "change public 0", and have an entry in that table as well, you would send the 4 digits to the IA770 trunk group. This is all covered in the IA770 installation guide(s).

Also, on the station forms, you need to set "MWI Served User Type:" to "qsig-mwi" for the MWI lamps to light with the IA770

CM 5.0 IA770 guide:

CM 4.0 IA770 guide:

FYI, there are also many Cornerstone (C) and Audix (A) patches to apply, for the different releases of the IA770, they have had many bugs / fixes.
