Hey everyone,

I have an IPsec tunnel set up between 2 netgear routers, my BCM is 192.168.3.99 once my tunnel is established I can ping the BCM, I can even access it via element manager. I have an I2004 set that is not able to register with the BCM. It gives me the server unreachable message. The phone tries S1 for about 1 second then jumps to S3. I have the phone set to a static IP of 192.168.2.99, the gateway is 192.168.2.1 both S1 and S2 set to the BCM IP of 192.168.3.99 port 7000. I can ping 192.168.3.99:7000 from a pc on the remote gateway, and like I said before I can also access the BCM with element manager as well. Any ideas?

Dosen't the IP address of the phone have to be on the BCM IP range?

IP Registration is enabled

We have 8 IP Client Seats available

I can get the second set to come up if I plug it in localy, it is over the second tunnel that I the server unreachable message.

Do you have NAT enabled on the router? Nortel IP sets don't like NAT but that usually affects the voice only.

You can also try to set your IP set to partial DHCP and let it get it's IP address from the remote router. Not sure how your tunnels are set up but thats what I do when I set up VPN Routers.
