I was working on some headlines in a publication. I changed the font size in the style pallet but the headlines did not resize. I had to do them manually. Any idea what the problem is?

Normally this works extremely well. I can only think that you had not actually applied the style to those headlines you now wish to update. I don't know what else to suggest.

Did you paste in the headline from another aplication, like Word?

To restore the headline so that it will accept your style, cut'n'paste it into Notepad. This will strip out all the formatting. Cut'n'paste the text back into PM and apply the chosen style.
