I want to block AOL instant messaging - how?

I have viewed some discussion on this and still haven't seen a resolution on doin this, does anyone know the access list rules that will do this. I have a CISCO 1600

This is what I have in the router now (I'm kind of a beginner with Cisco Routers)in my access-list<br><br>deny ip host 205.188.153.43 any<br>deny ip host 205.188.153.44 any<br><br>they are the last 2 lines in my access-list would this be the correct syntax and location for this?<br><br>BTW - I could still log on to the instant messenger.<br>

I finally solved it, I am now blocking the Instant Messenger through the Cisco Router. I got all the IP addresses that it tried to access (through my packet sniffer) and I entered them into my extended ip access list.<br>I read everything I could on the subject today and gave myself a lesson in Router 101.&nbsp;&nbsp;If you would like the list I made, you can email me at <A HREF="mailto:jjasper@world.std.com">jjasper@world.std.com</A>

Just dont tell the employees they can now acces im express right through the aol site now. Without the standard im software. Will that change it?
