for a customer that needed the ability for the recepts to view the busy/idle status of 150+ phones. The cost was $25000 to $40000 depending on how in depth the customized database was for 3 consoles. Needless to say, we installed a legacy digital line card with refurbished 2250 consoles because the cost was so prohibitive. This is something you get for free with a Cisco Call Manager solution. I don't know why Nortel hasn't come out with a basic TAPI software product for attendants. If you come up with something eles, please post your findings.
agree with tee. i wrote a script to status all routes and stations in a snapshot window and repeat it on schedule, sent that to a excel did a sort with a macro and get better reports then nortels cdr plus acd... they need to step up on that front.. of course when your stock is worth 7 dollars a ton, r and d might not still get the big money. they don't even offer a true console any more... 3904's with add on mods... might as well put in call comanders
