you try to install what from where on what? from cd to hd? from hd to hd? from network to hd? What's the complete error message?

i have 2 local HDD and from both i get errors, also when i run a setup from CD and when it decompress it gives and error to.

For example i got Exchange Server 5.5 and i am trying to apply so patch and all of then gives me the I/O Error. then Ok and exit.

Also when i try to decrompess an .exe zip file it gives me the error header corrupt, its looks like the disc is having problem but since i have 2 disc, it not a certain problem that both disc are damaged.

Also runned chkdsk /f on both disk and the problems continius.

any recommendations?

thanks
lovalles
