Will access take an INITCAP command and if so where do I put it in that query design editor?

thanks

jj

"String" = strconv("String",vbProperCase) I have had trouble using this command in queries but it works great as an "AfterUpdate" event on any input field that is reasonable. One problem is that words with two capital letters like "McAfee" will be converted to "Mcafee". If the entry is "Mc Afee" it will work fine.

Hope this helps.

I have no experience with VB. Isn't there a way to just set the format property in the table field similar to the way it can be set to capitalize all letters (">") - but have it capitalize the first letter of each word in a particular field? If not I guess I need to learn some VB and where and how to place the code in Access so I can save my fingers and wrists from all the data I'm trying to enter.
