I need a publisher NOTE CARD template NOT quarter fold HELP HELP HELP

Hello,
I am looking for a publisher template
I am making wedding invitations

Publisher will only let me make a quarter fold

what I want to be able to do is

use an 81/2 by 11 sheet of card stock
to produce two note cards that have printing on both sides...

I cant find any help on this...such a simple request but yet impossible to accomplish!!!

virtually want to note/thank you card template that will work with publisher

as I said publisher has notecard templates but the result is a quarter fold card.
help please............

So you want an 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 card with no fold as the final result? Use a blank page and change paper size to 8-1/2 x 5-1/2. That'll print 2 cards on each sheet then all you'd have to do is cut them.

I want to make two note cards out of 81/2 x 11 sheet of cardstock, I want to be able to print on bothsides preferrably set up in a template with the end result as
two NOTE / INVITATION type cards that have fold at the top and printing on both sides....

I don't think I've ever seen a template for what your describing. If you find one let me know as I've had need for something along those lines, too.

The only get around would be to use the notecard template sidefold in landscape, create side one and side two (front and back of card) on pages 1 & 2, copy/paste them onto pages 3 & 4 and print.

For the opposite side (the inside of the card) use the booklet template, print that on the blank side and cut the pages in half then fold. Clunky and you'd have to maintain two files but workable.

It just cracks me up that MS publisher doesnt make a simple template for this. I had downloaded an avery notecard template for word that can be copied to publisher. but then again you only get one notecard centered on your page, thus wasting the rest....I want to maximize my paper and ink! I am trying your tip...

Ok Looks like it worked good, I set up side fold notcard in landscape pages 1/2 were front and back pages 3/4 were front and back (duplicated) printed those out, then I used same set up as above and my text *for inside of the card were pages 1 and 3...NO problems. THNKS ...seems so easy yet so complicated for the simple brain at task...thanks again..:>

Glad it worked. I don't think I've ever seen a template that involved a cut sheet with the exception of business and postcards, especially when combining formats like this. Seems like it shouldn't be too difficult, maybe in the next generation of releases.
