I pretty much know the answer to this but I need to check before I move on. I was running WIN2K on an 80 gig drive. I was re-installing it where I deleted the partition, then created 4 unformatted partitions the first being 10 gig. I finished the setup which formatted the first partition and installed windows on it.

THAT'S when I realized I forgot to backup about 5 gigs of work. (I'm literally sick to my stomach)

So I have wiped the first 10 gigs of that old 80 gig partition and have not formatted the 3 unformatted ones.

Is there anything I can do or am I pretty much screwed?

This is not a product I've used, it's something that turned up awhile back that indicates it has the ability to work with ntfs and deleted partitions as well as files. If some of your data wasn't under that first 10 gig, you might have a chance-I think there's a trial that you can download at no charge.

Stop writing anything to that Drive and start recovery from Floppy or CD drive:

I tested over 10 Products these couple of days and most all of them will recover what you have lost:

I tested Partition Commander, Partition Table Doctor, Boot Master, 7 Tools, Acronis, etc....

Just go to Google.com and start Searching....
