I am using OutLook 2002(XP). I had this problem since Outlook 2000 and when I imported my contacts to 2002, the nightmare came back. Normally When I choose to email someone, the contacts folder comes up as an error because the first contacts folder does not contain any contacts. There is a second Contacts folder which does so I select that one, then I can send an email to a friend.

My question is how do I delete the first Contacts group folder since it does not contain any contacts? It's beggining to be a pain. Please help. Thanks a bunch.

Carlos

If you can't delete the first one, why not MOVE all the contacts from the second one, to the first one, and delete the second contacts folder.
Will that work for you?? Jay~

My new Tae Kwon Do website is up and running!!

Well I have thought of that but never tried. Let me give it a shot and will let you know. Thought there was some other way.
I understand that you can not delete the Contacts folder but in this case I have two so I thought maybe I could delete one. To tell you the truth, I do not know how it got there to begin with.

Thanks.

Carlos.

I tried it but not that simple. But I fixed the problem by deleting what you original could not delete the contacts folder.

I actually was able to delete the entire address book and created a new one from scratch. I first backed up the address book though then I created a new one...I am happy....
