i have no sound on 98se

i just installed 98se and i have no sound...i updated windows with : tools windows update....still nothing.

Howdy:

Did you install the soundcard drivers?? have you checked to make sure the speakers aren't "muted" ??

Did the sound work before? I've had this problem with MS updates messing up the sound. Re-install the original drivers.
