I have a terminal that is setup to monitor all outgoing calls on a particular route. Every time someone makes a call on that route it prints out the information on the screen. It includes the DN that the call originated from and the number called. This happens whether someone is logged in or not. I was wondering if anyone knew what this was and how to turn it off while working? This is a system that was in place before I was hired on and the guy that has been here for more than 20 years isn't much help.

sounds like your d channel monitoring is on

to find the d channel goto LD 60

LD 60
. stat

this will print your loops and d's

The LD 96 commands to enable or disable monitoring of all incoming or
outgoing messages on a D-channel are:
ENL MSGI x ? enable monitoring of incoming messages
ENL MSGO x ? enable monitoring of outgoing messages
DIS MSGI x ? disable monitoring of incoming messages
DIS MSGO x ? disable monitoring of outgoing messages

x is the d channel number

you should be able to go to ld 96 and type STAT MON and hit enter and it will show you if any d channel monitoring is turned on, then follow Gibblets instructions to turn it off

OK it took me a while to get around to it, but here it is. I don't think that I am monitoring a DCH because this is what I get from LD 96 when I STAT MON

Sounds like you have raw CDR being output on the terminal.

Go into LD 22 and print the ADAN for the TTY port in question and see if CTY is in the USER.
