I have a "new" used Meridian and don't know much....

I moved into a new office space and acquired a one cabinet Meridian phone system. I have a few phones with it and I am looking for information on getting my feet wet with programming. Depending on what I have here, I may want to use this for business. How do I get more information on the system I have (release, hardware inventory, etc.)? Is there a GUi interface that I need? Anyone out there kind enough to take a few minutes and has a lot of patience? I'd greatly appreciate it.

The first thing to do is read the faq's located on

From there you will learn the basic commands and find manuals. I dont know very much but would be willing to help in any way I can.AJK

procomm, or hyperterm... procomm, nortel makes a strange gui that some try to get by with, if it's free i would say don't go that way.. if you want to learn programing, then command line only takes a few minutes... hope you have the rtu, (nortel right to use doc) original install software, and keycodes... big plus.. single cab, wall hanger or refrig size, wall hanger is opt 11, might help if your looking for manuals... phone types?.. nt number on the bottom, might help one of us get you started

Your a vendor?? You don't know what kind of system you have?? Does it say Meridian 1 or just Meridian?? If only Meridian it is a Norstar.
