I have a file in Word 97, and when I open it sends me the dialog box "File with macros, ........" but when i made it i didn't set any macro in this file. And also I open this file and look for, and don't find any macro in the file.
What can i do, for this file doesn't show the dialog box if it doesn't have macros?

Thanks, Salu2

IF you KNOW that the author of this Doc. is a truested source, then go to Tools>Macro>security . choose Trusted sources Tab ... add the authors name there.

Hi Salu,

It is not recomended to open files with unknown macros, check whether the macros are developed from your company programmers or not....

If yes, then go to tools/macro/security and click on "low security"

Before that pl. check whether your system with virus scanner
with latest virus updates

Cheers !!!

Well, I understand what you said. But the problem is that this file doesn't have macros because I made it, and I didn't set any macro to this file. So my question is why when I open the file, word says that this file has macros?

Thanks, Salu2
