I have a Dell Inspiron 2500 laptop with Windows 2000 Pro, Celeron 800 processor, 128 MB of RAM. At different times, but mostly at shutdown, I will get a blue screen with the following message:
STOP: 0x0000009F (0x00000100,0xFCE97240,0xFCE97240,0xFCDCDED0)
DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE
Beginning physical dump of mempory
Physical Mempory Dump complete. Contact your blah, blah, blah
The only hardware I've installed is a Linksys PCMCIA 10/100 network card. I'm wondering if the driver for this might be causing a problem, but this is such a generic, prevelent card it's hard to believe. Also, I have several other nearly identical laptops with this same card that have had no problems.
Anyone have any ideas as to what this might be?
