Went home Friday, application was working. Came in this morning and any queries using Left, Right, or Mid functions are returning #ERROR in the Cells of the query. It's Monday and I'm not thinking too clearly yet. Will someone please slap me in the face with some obvious solutions before I lose it?

Your references are incorrect. Open a module, any module, then go to Tools... References.... Note the references that are checked then check another one(doesn't really matter which one). Close everything. Re-open the db, go back to the References and uncheck the one you checked. Then try using the query or whatever that was giving you the problem.

Thanks Jerry. Worked like a charm. I'd never experienced that before, and I've been doing this for quite a long time. I figured it was References, but didn't know how to undo the damage. Any idea what causes this?

It's a known problem. I'm not sure what causes it exactly, it has to do with differences in the way Access installs on different machines. There is a way to have Access check to see if the problem exists and correct itself. I don't have that info with me right now, but you can find it on MS's website.
