I.E. Address bar incomplete 1

The PC shows the left sided label ADDRESS ( ghosted) but I can't get the accompanying white input box to the right to display.. have tried View/Toolbars which shows it "ticked" but it just wont appear.

Any ideas??

View/Toolbars - Uncheck the "Lock Toolbars" and re-align.
