I'm going to format and reinstall win98, is there a way to
save my "favorites" in internet explorer?

Sure, in Windows Explorer, navigate to to C:\Windows\ and copy the whole Favorites folder to where you want to save it.

You could also, in IE, go to File Import and Export and choose Favorites. You could also export Cookies if you wish.

You would reverse the process by using Import.
