even when i open yahoo it will show done but empty screen

You need to be more specific. Are you saying this virus took out your sound card? I think that's unlikely but could happen. What you should do is check your drivers and make sure they are properly installed. Next you need to check if it's installed properly. When was it working last? What'd you do since then? If all else fails back up and format. But honestly that's not enough details to give a good troubleshoot.
