My first post here! woohoo!!

Hello all!

I have received my first commission to do a site for a Film Director. (Gulp)

Things are going ok but I want to decrease the height of my table.
It's much taller than now require.
Trouble is when I drag and drop it, nothing happens.

Please help me!

Thx

P.S.
I have tried clicking the <td> tag at the bottom of the screen in normal view, and then in the property inspector I have altered the height - but to no avail . . .

check to see if you have any hard returns in the table...or under properties tab there are two places you need to see if the HEIGHT of the table is dedfined...do this:
1...take the curser to the top of the table, the curser should turn into a black arrow facing downwards, when that happens click once and then look in the properties tab to see if HEIGHT is defined

2...if not HEIGHT is defined take the curser to the upper left side, the arrow should turn into a 4-sided arrow, click once and see if HEIGHT is defined in the preoperties tab...

I have not failed; I merely found 100,000 different ways of not succeding...

Thanx dude I think I figured it out . . .

I changed the height in my html source code of the table, td etc.

I gotta new prob now .!

I have now made
a couple of pages and haven't changes the alignment of the tables but when you look in browser they are in different positions on the page grrr!!

Please help

d

Do you mean the actualy table itself or the content in the table is in diff. positions?? Are you putting your tables inside if layers?? Where in DW is the table positioned and where on the browser is it positioned?? I have not failed; I merely found 100,000 different ways of not succeding...

Hey dude!
The table is centered on all pages, yet in the browser one seems to be shifted to the er left I think.
could this be that the margins (and therefore the pages' definition of center) would have changed too?

It's the actual table itself that appears to move slightly from page to page, not the content.

Thx I will look at it tomorrow ... - I'm at work now and I am out on the beer tonight so it'll be a late one! ;)

Thanks a lot for your help I really do appreciated it.
