I cannot download any attachments from Hotmail/Yahoo...... 1

Hi everyone...

I cannot download any of my mail's attachments from Hotmail/Yahoo... Could any one suggest me some solution

Are you behind a company firewall? The comapny may restrict attachments as part of thier anti-virus protection.

I'm using the PC at my home...so no firewall at all....

Do the attachments appear as attachments or links? Does attempting to dl them generate an error or nothing at all?

All the attachments appear as Attachments only... when i try to download them...it does not generate any errors at all...

I had a similar problem where I had previously unchecked the box that said to ask me each time if I wanted to run from the source or save file. The files were downloading but into the Internet temp directory. You can confirm if this what's happening by going to start-find and searching for the attachment name on you hard drive. I bypassed the problem by right clicking and selecting the save selection.
