I cannot create a shortcut icon for my printerr PSC 2350

I have 2 printers installed as local networked printer on 2 computers labelled as follows:
-Auto HP Deskjet 890C series on Dad 586
-HP PSC 2350 on Dad 586

On the Computer "AMD" with Windows XP I was able to create a shorticon icon on my Desktop like this:
- Auto HY Deskjet 890C Series on Dad 586

but I simply cannot create another shortcut icon for the other printer called "HP PSC 2350 on Dad 586"\

What do I do wrong ? Your help will be much appreciated.

Start, Printers and Faxes, select your printer and drag it to the desktop? That should create the shortcut.
