I can not run any programs help please

everytime i try to run a program it will give me an eror message such as windows can not find "rundll32.exe" any help would be great

my os is windows xp professional
and i don't think i have the sircam virus

Hi,

Probably that file has been deleted or renamed. Try copying the file from another XP machine and copy it onto yours at the correct location.

I'm not sure about XP but in '98 its only 25K so it will easilly fit on a floppy.

Any Help, Yes/No let me know

Does sound very like the Sircam virus though,
do a search on your C:\ for...
scam32.exe
scam*.*
scam

If anything comes up you have the virus... Jay~

This is almost certainly Sircam, the clue is that the message appears when you try to run ANY program. There is a long thread at:
