I am using a labtop running W98. The problem is when I boot-up the computer cuts its self off. What could be the problem? Any suggestions are helpful.

The battery is dead. Charge it up or it might need to be replaced.
If the above does not solve your problem. Then give us some details.

After I submitted my question, the battery came to mind and I charged it up and everything works fine Thanks.
