I accidentelly deleted my internet explorer 6. I tried to reinstall it, but it says " a newer version is installed." Now I'm told by Compaq that I have to do a restore to get it back. If this is the case, I'm going to lose my business information. Please advise. Thanks

deleted what from where, exactly?
either you've deleted the icon on the desktop, in which case it can be put back with little trouble (look through the Desktop control panel bit) or you've deleted the Internet Explorer folder out of the program files folder, which id be surprised if it would have let you! if it did, see if theres an option to add it back in from Add/Remove - Windows Components, i cant remember off the top of my head..!
